DEDICATION OF MEGA CHURCH AT PERIYA NOLAMBUR
ECI Perianolambur Church was established in 1975 through the outreach ministry of the students of Madras Theological Seminary & College. The students would visit Perianolambur on weekends and do personal evangelism and tract distribution, besides praying for the sick and needy. They would also gather the children of the locality and teach them Christian songs and Bible verses. The Lord blessed their efforts and soon a small group of believers started gathering for worship in the house of one of the new converts. As the number of believers gathering for worship grew, a piece of land was purchased with the help of some donors and a small semi-permanent church was constructed in 1982. The church had about 20 families at that time and by the year 1990 there were 50 families. In 2000, the Lord enabled the believers to purchase a piece of land adjacent to the church and a bigger permanent church building was constructed with 125 families worshipping the Lord regularly.
Rev Robin Rajkumar took charge of this congregation in 2006 and the church began to grow so rapidly. Currently this church has more than 200 families and they have three services on every Sunday. As the number started growing, the Lord granted a vision to Rev Robin to construct a mega church which could be a landmark in this area. With prayers he started the work in 2013 for church construction and after four years they were able to construct a beautiful mega church which was dedicated on 25th June 2017.
